    Finely chop the garlic cloves.

    Cut the paneer into small squares.

    In a saucepan, heat oil. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Let it splutter.

    Add chopped onions, green chillies, garlic and ginger. Saute until it turns pale in colour.

    Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and curry powder. Mix everything well.

    Add the paneer squares and gently stir to coat them evenly.

    Pour in the tomato ketchup and mix well.

    To this add water and salt to taste. Gently stir.
