How to make MASH BOUS LAHEM RECIPE recipe

1. The ingredients quantity can be set as per your serving requirements. We recommend you set before you start cooking.

2. Finely chop the onion & garlic.

3. Finely chop the tomatoes. Peel the carrot skin & grate the carrot.

4. In a pan heat the corn oil over the medium heat then add onion & garlic. Saute till turns brown color.

5. Add lamb & fresh tomatoes saute for few minutes.

6. Then add tomato paste, arabic spices, turmeric, white pepper.

7. Add salt, dry lime, cardamom, bay leaves. Mix all the ingredients well & saute for about one minute or till the raw smells disappear.

8. Add water then bring to boil. Reduce heat & cook for 45 minutes or until the lamb is cooked.

9. Add the rice to the mixture & bring to boil. Simmer till the rice has absorbed all the water.

10. Add grated carrot & chilli. Cover & cook for 15 minutes or until carrots are turned soft.

11. To preprare the dip, add yogurt in the bowl, combine together chili powder, cumin powder, salt & chopped coriander leaves.

12. Whisk well till all the ingredients are combined well.

13. To prepare for the garnish, take a pan heat the oil then add almonds, pinenuts & raisins. Saute for 5 minutes or until it turns golden brown

14. Place the rice onto a large platter & garnish with roasted almonds, pinenuts & raisin. Serve with dip.
