How to make KHICHDI recipe
1. Add 1.5 cups water, salt, turmeric and cloves.
2. Cover and cook over a slow fire in a thick-bottomed pan until water is absorbed and rice and dal are tender.
3. Remove from the fire and add ghee or butter.
4. Serve hot with potato and vegetables or ghee or plain yoghurt.
