How to make ADAS BIL HAMOD RECIPE recipe

1. The ingredients quantity can be set as per your serving requirements. We recommend you set it before you start cooking.

2. Finely chop the onion, baby marrow, spinach & celery

3. In a big heavy bottom pan heat olive oil & add chopped onions. Sauté till onion turns light brown color.

4. Add chopped celery & sauté till you get a aroma of the mixture.

5. Add the brown lentils and mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes

6. Now add cumin powder, white pepper powder, salt and chicken stock & mix well.

7. Add water & stir. Bring to boil then reduce the heat and cook for around 45 minutes or until the lentils are very soft.

8. Once cooked, add the chopped spinach & the baby marrow and cook for 5 minutes or until baby marrow turns tender.

9. Finely chop the fresh coriander.

10. Once the lentil & vegetables are fully cooked, add lime juice and chopped coriander leaves. Mix them well.

11. Serve hot with lemon & arabic bread
