In a mixing bowl sift All purpose flour and baking powder.

Add almond powder & mix well. Set aside.

Beat butter & sugar in a mixer for about 10 minutes.

Add eggs one at a time while beating.

Fold in the sieved mixture of flour & baking powder prepared earlier.

Add half of the nuts into the batter & mix.

Pour the mixture into a prepared tin. Tin can be prepare with a liner or parchment paper.

Sprinkle the remaining nuts & raisins on top.

Bake at 180°C in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes. Check cake is cooked using a thin skewer or toothpick. Insert into the centre of the cake, it should come out clean. Remove from heat and let cool on a wire rack.
